"I put in the years of trial and error so every client I take on doesn't have to." — Daniel Valdes
WHERE APEX CAME FROM
I wasn't always the guy with the answers. There was a version of me that trained 5 days a week, tracked everything, did all the "right things" — and still looked mediocre. I was frustrated, confused, and frankly embarrassed that I was putting in more work than most people I knew but had nothing to show for it.
The problem wasn't my effort. It was my information. I was doing what Instagram told me to do. What YouTube influencers swore by. What the biggest guy at my gym recommended. None of it was wrong exactly — it just wasn't built for my body, my goals, or my life.
"I realized that most fitness advice is designed to be broadly appealing — not actually effective for the individual reading it. I wanted to fix that."
So I went deep. Certifications, research papers, working with coaches myself, experimenting obsessively. I stopped trying to find the "best program" and started learning the principles behind why programs work — so I could build one from scratch for any person, any goal, any starting point.
I used myself as the first test case. Built the system, ran it on my own body, refined it, ran it again. When I finally got the results I'd been chasing — genuinely lean, genuinely muscular, built the way I wanted — I started sharing the framework with others.
That framework became Apex Systems. Not a trendy program. Not a PDF I sell to thousands. A precision-built, science-backed coaching system I run with a maximum of 10 men at a time — because that's the only way to do it right.
Every client I take on gets what I wish I'd had from day one: a system built specifically for them, a coach who actually responds, and the education to stay in shape for life.
